We start with a conversation. We strive to learn and understand what matters most to our clients, what they want to accomplish in life and with their finances, and why it all matters.
This may sound simple, but it’s not. Too often advisors move directly into the “objectives and risk tolerance” conversation before first appreciating the big picture, the vision behind the goals. Understanding the vision, identifying the values that need to be honored along the way, and identifying the goals that will move us together toward that vision is critical.
Once we understand our clients’ life and financial objectives, we then utilize all the tools and intelligence at our disposal to design and implement a customized roadmap that will help us collectively move forward. Utilizing Our LifeSync® Process, we take into account everything from cash flow needs to philanthropic interests, tax status to family dynamics, life values to communication preferences. By the time we get to this point, we have such impeccable clarity on who our clients are, what they want and why they want it, that we can design solutions that are perfectly appropriate. When we understand not only what our clients want to achieve, but the big picture and the motivations behind it, we’re in a better position to design a plan that works.
